When it’s time for a cheeky glass (or two) of Sauvy but you’re on a budget tighter than a nun’s bum then Bay and Barnes Block Sauvignon Blanc is your go-to.
Made by the guys and girls at the Giesen wine group – it’s Sauvignon Blanc using fruit from South Africa (the sky rocketing rising price for Marlborough fruit means budget priced Marlborough juice just ain’t possible).
It’s a no bullshit style SauvyB that’s all about everyday quaff-ability at a price that’ll keep the budget conscious (some would call tight arses!) more than happy. Lightly zingy, citrusy, tropical fruit flavours with a refreshing finish. Serve it nicely chilled and pair with a portion of good old Kiwi fush ‘n’ chups.
