Get ready to belt out the national anthem as you pour yourself a flute of this world famous, high value French fizz! The guys at Veuve du Vernay in France have produced this cool as limited edition bottle in 2021 (to commemorate Anzac day) featured the NZ flag design wrap around the bottle.

Named after a widow (‘Veuve’ in French) in the village of Vernay who helped French boffin Eugène Charmat get his bubbly business off the ground. Charmat was the bloke who invented the cuve close (sealed vats) method of producing sparkling wine, commonly used today.
