Yep, that’s right. Sunstones that used to form the river bed of an ancient river in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley are now used by the crew at Stoneleigh to radiate the daytime heat directly onto the vines, making them work hard to produce grapes full of crisp, vibrant flavour.
Produced from their vineyards in Marlborough’s “Golden Mile”, an area along Rapaura Road renowned for producing the best flavoured fruit in the Marlborough region. Enjoy it now, lightly chilled with fresh seafood or a cheeky chicken salad.
