So much more than a pretty gift tin with butterflies. Perrier-Jouet (pronounced pehr-ree yay jhoo-et with the "T" pronounced) asked Viennese design duo mischer’traxler to create a limited edition gift offering for their world famous Grand Brut Champagne.
Called "Small Discoveries" that includes a flutter of butterflies and inspired by PJ’s Art Nouveau heritage. It also coincided with an installation that PJ commissioned mischer’traxler to create at the London Design Festival in 2015 called "Curiosity Cloud" – 250 mouth-blown glass globes hanging from the famous Norfolk House Music Room, containing a variety of fluttering species of hand-fabricated insects. Like we said, so much more than a pretty gift tin with butterflies!
We thought the gift tin looked pretty cool – and then realised it’s actually isothermal. So it really IS cool – it’ll keep a bottle of Perrier-Jouet nicely chilled for a couple of hours!
