Honestly this could be the best ten bucks you splurge on an Aussie red all year! Two of Australia’s top critics have been raving about this from the rooftops – this is basically selling itself right now…
91/100, James Halliday Wine Companion (2019)
“Look for Oxford Landing, make sure it’s the shiraz and then that it’s the 2018 vintage. Tick these off and you have arguably the best $10-ish red wine going around right now. Talk about moreish. There’s a dash of Tempranillo included in this year’s release and it’s worked a treat.”
90/100, Campbell Mattinson (The Wine Front)
“One of the steals of the year. If you’re looking for an ‘everyday’ red then this is the one to reach for. It’s sweet, plush, plum-shot and soft, as you’d expect, but it has far more volume and impact than you’d expect of a wine at this price level. I tasted it in a long line-up of wines and it jumped out.”
One of the steals of the year is right! A plush, rich, juicy and super satisfying South Australian Shiraz that over delivers and then some. You just simply won’t find a better bang for buck Aussie Shiraz anywhere.
We’ve nabbed every single last box of this ripper 2018 vintage (we would’ve grabbed ten times as much if we could’ve!). With shipping delays left, right and centre they’re not expecting more stocks of this one to arrive back into NZ until around middle of winter.
So what are you waiting for?! Hook in before it’s gobbled up.
