World famous French Champagne house Mumm has collaborated with superstar Marlborough winemaker Jamie Marfell to create the Mumm Marlborough series. Jamie’s been crafting still and sparkling wine in Marlborough for over 18 years, so he knows a trick or two. Old world know-how and new world nouse comes together to create this truly awesome Marlborough sparkling using all the same grape varieties and techniques used in Champagne, France.

Made from 100% Marlborough Pinot Noir grapes from a single vintage (2017) and aged for four years before release – this is a gorgeous Rosé style bubbles full of summer berry fruit flavours and a strong French accent!

Awarded 5 Stars and No.1 NZ Methode Traditionelle in Cuisine magazine 2023. The judges said “When G.H. Mumm’s chef de cave Laurent Fresnet worked with Marlborough winemaker Jamie Marfell to create this blanc de noir from 100% Marlborough pinot noir, he was clearly satisfied that he was working with the best. The result is a New Zealand sparkling rosé emblazoned proudly with the iconic G.H. Mumm brand.

As a vintage sparkling wine, this rosé is required to be aged for a minimum of three years prior to release. This wine, however, has been aged for a total of four years which contributes to the enhanced complexity, texture and flavour of the blend.”
