Albariño (pronounced al-bar-een-yoh) is widely planted in Spain and Portugal, this fashionable new white aromatic is medium bodied, zesty with lovely crisp acidity. A variety picked by NZ Herald’s VIVA as one that’ll be trending in 2016 – “The zesty, briny Albarino is the hottest new wine on Kiwi tables.”
And in a wine show specifically for the Aromatic style wine Te Awa Left Field’s Albariño took Trophy and Gold for Champion Other White!
