What a cracker! A nut cracker actually. Just like the humble French nut cracker (“Le Casse Noix“) that takes an “iron fist in a silk glove” approach to cracking his (or her) nuts, these guys treat each grape with just the right amount of pressure to yield the best quality juice.
From the Languedoc region of southern France this is a medium bodied, silky smooth French Syrah with plenty of Ooh-La-La, rich juicy dark fruits, supple tannins and a touch of peppery spice. It’s an ideal style red for summer!
Imported into NZ by Master of Wine Steve Bennett – Steve’s made the tough call to cull this one from his range and has really put his own nuts on the line by offering a sharp deal to clear his final stocks.
