Nestled high up in the foothills of the Andes mountain range in Argentina you’ll find the Famatina Valley. Ancient soils, clear mountain air, a unique microclimate of extremely hot and dry summer days and cool nights.

Essentially a barren desert valley 1100 metres above sea level. The indigenous "Diaguita" people (translates to "Hill People") that lived there hundreds of years ago struggled on a daily basis to find enough water.
