Bravo Maestro! This is the best South African wine we’ve ever wrapped our lips around – end of.

An oak matured, full bodied blended white with a little bit of this, a little bit of that and a maestro’s touch in the winery has produced a wine well deserving of its Decanter World Wine Awards Trophy in London for the Best Blended White under fifteen quid!

This stunning S’affer blend is made up of 26% Roussanne, 25% Chardonnay, 19% Grenache Blanc, 17% Chenin Blanc and 13% Viognier. Highly influential Wine Enthusiast magazine summed it up nicely – “a smooth texture and ripe fruit flavors that are cut by ample acidity and lingering sweet-spice accents.”

DeMorgenzon literally means ‘the morning sun’ – that’s because they’re the first in the Stellenbosch Valley to see it thanks to the high altitude of their vineyards.
