Dandelion’s making wishes come true. There’s got to be magic behind the label to make Aussie wine guru James Halliday’s list of Top 10 Best New Wineries that’s for sure.

A fusion of vineyards and vignerons across three families in South Australia. But who are the Dandelions? They’re Elena (trophy winemaker and, we might add, trophy wife!), Zar (Elena’s husband, typist and other jobs TBA) and winegrowers Carl, Peggy, Fiona and Brad. Oh, and Madison the dog.

The Lioness of McLaren Vale is Elena’s first Shiraz cub and reowwww, she’s hot!…

Gold medal – Critics International Wine Challenge (USA) 2018

Gold medal – McLaren Vale Wine Show 2018
    5 Stars (95/100) – James Halliday

That’s a Platinum award (all the judges scored it Gold), a total of FIVE (5!) Gold medals and a big thumbs up from James Halliday and whopping 95/100 score in the bag – infact James said “18 months maturation in French and American oak, largely used. Deep crimson-purple; full-bodied, but not the least oppressive, letting all things McLaren Vale free to express themselves. Blackberry, black cherry and bitter chocolate are wrapped in a gauze veil of ripe tannins.”

A powerful, dense, full bodied beast loaded with spicy, dark fruit flavours that make Aussie Shiraz lovers simply lick their lips! Pounce on it now.
