Sorry, this vintage is a sell out!

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a horse! Sally the horse actually and she’s where the inspiration comes from for Charcoal Gully’s Sallys Pinch Pinot Noir.

Charcoal Gully are a boutique Central Otago producer owned by Brian and Cheryll Sanders. They’ve got Matt Dicey (Mt Difficulty) overseeing the viticulture and Pete Bartle (Wooing Tree, Domain Road, Bald Hills, Grasshopper Rock and more!) – so they’re in bloody good hands.

Not for the first time this label made an impression with Cuisine magazine’s wine panel in their annual Pinot tasting. Awarding it 4 1/2 Stars & Best Buy, they said “The 2014 version is typically inky, rich and powerful, offering lashings of dark berryfruit flavours”

How long to lay it down for you ask? Well, we reckon up until 2020-2022 should do the trick.
