Out of stock
Wow! Do not adjust your screen. Yep – Akarua’s Rua Pinot Gris is $14.99, bonkers or what!
With the 2014 vintage waiting in the wings the winery is clearing the final stocks of their simply delicious ’13 vintage…and they’re not mucking about on price! What was a $22 Pinot Gris is now up for grabs at a price we’ve not seen before and we’re not sure we’ll see again…but we’re not prepared to sit around and find out! Two cases went straight into the boss’ car boot so you know it’s decent stuff alright!
Rua is Akarua’s little brother (so little they only used some of the letters in its name) and their Rua Pinot Gris is produced from one of the hot spots in Marlborough known as the "Golden Triangle of Rapaura" – one of the oldest and most established appallations in Marlborough.
Soft, rich, off-dry style with a portion of the wine having been fermented in oak to add complexity and richness. In short – WAY too good to be flogged at this price, WAY too good to be missed! Hook in.
