Cast your hazy memory back to the 80s and you may remember slurping on the odd wine spritzer (also called wine coolers). And while shoulder pads, parachute pants and fingerless gloves are staying firmly in the 80s archives, spritzers are making a come back globally!
But forget the mass produced, cheap stuff from back in those days, the Invivo wine crew have produced a spritzer using their premium Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes, artesian spring water and infused them with natural lime and elderflower essence.
Produced in Mangawhai, a chilled out beach town north of Auckland, this is crisp, dry and ridiculously refreshing. Fill your glass up with ice, pop in a wedge of lime and a sprig of mint and go retro!
