- Based between Alexandra and Clyde in Central Otago, where they mined for gold back in the day
- Named after one of Alexandra's oldest buildings, the court house
- An absolute winner with duck
You’ll find the Three Miners Vineyard between Alexandra and the historic gold mining village of Clyde down there in Central Otago, where way back in the 1860’s their soils were mined for gold.
Husband and wife team Jeff Price and Julie Mitchell established Three Miners Vineyards in 2000, they soon cottoned on to the fact that there's no GOLD in 'dem 'der hills and have resorted to a modern day equivalent of mining for gold, growing damn good Pinot Noir and winning gold of a different kind!
After back to back Gold medal winning vintages Jeff's 2012 drop has hit the shelves so watch this space for more of the shiny gold stuff. This wine is seriously good, medium bodied with big bright ripe fruit that’s an absolute winner with duck.
