    This Storm's finished (sold out).

Watch out, Storm’s about! Batten down the hatches and prepare for outbreaks of panic spending!

Storm Crossing Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015. Made by Yealands Estate and originally bound for the UK market before one of their buyers did a U-turn on the deal and left them high and dry. Do yourself a favour and grab a case or two before this Storm blows over. Heck, make it three and save it for a rainy day.

A Reserve label produced using 11 carefully selected parcels of fruit from a single vineyard, their Seaview Vineyard in Marlborough’s Awatere Valley sub region. As the vineyard sits right on the coastline those poor little vines have to fight the coastal elements (maybe the odd storm!) that help to produce berries full of aromatic flavours.

Loaded with mouth-wateringly tropical, citrus fruit flavours and a crisp, clean finish (the winemaker called it “fresh herbs and finishes with a flinty mineral note“) – drink now and over the next year or so, serve it lightly chilled with fish and seafood if you’re keen for a mean wine and food match.

It’s a Reserve label Marlborough Sauvy from a single vineyard – so you can see why we’ve taken every last case available in NZ. This storm won’t last forever, forget the brolly it’s the credit card you’ll need. Get into it while you can.

p.s How much does it usually sell for you ask? Well, we didn’t put an RRP on this one as it was destined for the UK market so there was no NZ recommended retail price. But if you were wondering what it sells for over there some UK restaurant wine lists had it listed for 22 quid/NZD$40
