Lip smackingly good Shiraz from the McLaren Vale, it’s an animal (a lizard actually) and it’ll have you back for more after one sip!

A Shingleback is also known as Stumpy-Tail, Sleepy, Two-Head and Pinecone. It’s known to sun itself amongst the grape vines in the vineyard while these guys go about crafting this seriously damn delicious Reserve label red.

Inky dark purple in colour, she’s your full bodied, dense and rich, brooding Aussie Shiraz we absolutely love! Aussie critic James Halliday score it 93/100 + Special Value, saying “It doesn’t put a foot wrong from its deep, bright colour, black fruits to its medium-body and savoury tannins.“

It’s gagging for a big old chargrilled T-bone steak and if you have the patience it’s bound to age well (up to 2030!).
