- Named after a post box. While that's not all that exciting, the wine really delivers! (sorry, we couldn't resist)
- Aussie Shiraz, Cab Sauv, Merlot blend
- Gold medal winner
Free standing pillar boxes in Australia used to be green, blue and even chocolate brown until 1874 when red was the standard colour. The guys at Henry's Drive winery felt so passionate about the colour of their local post boxes they decided to name a wine after it!
History lesson over. Now, what can we tell you about then wine? Well, it's classic, good value Aussie red at a damn good price!
Two-thirds of dark, slightly spicy Shiraz blended with Cab Sauv and Merlot. 87/100 by Aussie wine writer James Halliday as well as a Gold and Silver medal in competitions here in NZ.
