- Fait-Main - it means "by hand" in French
- Crafted by a Master of Wine, NZ's very own Steve Bennett
- Very European style Pinot, a classy drop that'll impress!
Not "Fat Man", FAIT-MAIN. It's French and it means "By Hand".
Talk about a hands on approach to doing things. Hand picked fruit, fermented using an indigenous wild yeast, hand plunged (picture someone squashing grapes in a vat with a long-handled wooden plunger) and hand basket pressed before handed down to the little French oak barrels for 12 moths of aging.
A very European (Burgundian) style and a seriously good food wine - the best matches are duck, venison and other game meats.
