Poor old Pinot Blanc. Nowhere near as cool or fashionable as others in the Pinot family and often over shadowed by the other stars of the Alsace region in France like Gewurztraminer and Riesling.

But Pinot Blanc (also called Pinot Bianco) is a grape with heaps to offer. Although a lot of Pinot Blanc is ended up blended into other wines, like sparkling wines from the Alsace region, Joseph Cattin produce a stand alone Pinot Blanc to showcase what this little guy can really do.

Entirely hand picked, slowly crushed, there’s no oak aging here so she’s a dry, light and bright white with soft, delicate appley and citrus flavours. No matter what your favourite digs are when it comes to wine this is highly unlikely to offend anyone and makes a great pre-dinner tipple. Being a versatile little number you’ll find it works well with lighter style vegetarian, seafood or chicken dishes.
