That might be something to do with their German owners, Roger and Reydan Weiss, that spare no expense in running this state of the art winery located on the stunning Te Awanga coastline, and boast one of the finest winery restaurants in NZ! Using fruit sourced from their Gimblett, Bridge Pa and spectacular Te Awanga vineyards right on the Hawke’s Bay coastline, using entirely hand picked fruit, aged 18 months in French oak. In their own words the Elephant crew call this “luscious and elegant, a true Elephant Hill Syrah.“.
